NEWS FAQ
VBWASM Announcement
March 31, 2022

VBWASM is a project aimed at writing a fully functional VB6.0 to WebAssembly transpiler, after much of the success from our previous efforts with D to VB Transpiler in 2017/18.

We are writing VBWASM in IBM COBOL along with bindings for C++ and Scala due to the popularity of these languages in finance, and enterprise sectors and we hope to release APIs for APL and Idris later as well!

Can I use D to produce WASM?

Yes, by chaining the D->VB transpiler with the VB->WASM transpiler you can produce clean, fast, and accurate WASM from D code.

D->VB->WASM

This style of transpiling, with VB as the intermediate language, is becoming more common in the industry.
